T.C. Kimlik No
Check the checksum of a Turkish identity number, without sending it anywhere.
Everything happens in your browser. Nothing you type is sent, looked up or stored — there is no register behind this page and no request leaves it.
Eleven digits. The check runs as you type, in this page.

Good to know
- The tenth digit is the odd-position digits times seven, minus the even-position ones, mod ten; the eleventh is the sum of the first ten, mod ten. That is the whole algorithm, and it has been public for as long as the number has existed.
- A correct checksum means the number is well formed. It does not mean it was ever issued, and it says nothing about whose it is — that needs the state's own register, which this page does not call and never will.
- What it is good for is catching a typo: every single mistyped digit is caught, and about nine in ten swapped neighbouring digits.
- Nothing you type is sent anywhere or kept. Close the tab and it is gone.
