Good to know

• The steps always run in this order: trim, drop empty lines, remove duplicates, order, add prefix and suffix, number. The fixed order is what makes the result predictable — trimming first decides whether "a" and " a " count as the same line.
• Sorting depends on the language. Turkish puts ı before i and ş after s; English rules put them somewhere else entirely, which is why the rule set is a choice rather than a guess.
• De-duplication keeps the first occurrence of a line and drops the rest, so the original order of what survives is never disturbed.
• Everything happens in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to the server or stored anywhere.
