Good to know
- The draw picks the winner and the wheel is then steered to it — not the other way round. A wheel that stopped wherever the animation happened to end would make the result depend on frame timing and on whether the tab was in the background.
- That is also why a spin interrupted by switching tabs is not lost: the winner was already decided, so the wheel goes where it was always going to stop. If your system asks for reduced motion, the spin is skipped and the result is the same.
- The same seed and the same entries always land on the same slice. The seed is shown with the result, and the next one is already waiting in the field.
- Where inside the slice the pointer lands is drawn from the seed as well, so it does not stop dead centre every time and the spin still replays exactly.
