URL Encode / Decode
Percent-encode text for a URL and read it back, with the choice between a whole address and a single value.

Good to know
- The two modes are the whole point. Encoding one query value has to escape :/?#[]@ or the value breaks the address it lands in; encoding a whole address must leave exactly those alone or the address stops being one.
- Space becomes %20 here. The + used for spaces in old form submissions is a different rule that only applies inside form data, so it is not produced.
- Non-ASCII characters are encoded as their UTF-8 bytes, which is what every modern URL expects — é becomes %C3%A9 rather than a single byte.
- Everything happens in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to the server or stored anywhere.
