Any country. Spaces and letter case do not matter.

Good to know
- The check is ISO 7064 mod 97: move the first four characters to the end, turn each letter into two digits, and the whole thing read as one long number has to leave a remainder of one.
- Every country publishes an example IBAN — GB82 WEST…, DE89 3704…, TR33 0006…, FR14 2004…, NL91 ABNA…, CH93 0076… — and changing a single character in any of them makes the check fail.
- A Turkish IBAN is 26 characters: TR, two check digits, a five-digit bank code, one reserved digit, then sixteen for the account. The bank code is shown as it is — turning it into a bank name needs a list this page does not carry, and a wrong name would be worse than none.
- A valid IBAN is a well-formed one. Whether the account exists, and whose it is, only the bank knows.
