Elimination Draw
A list into a single-elimination bracket, round by round, with the byes drawn and shown.
The list stays in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to the server or stored anywhere.
A bracket only comes out even when the entrants are a power of two. Anything else means somebody advances without playing, and this decides who.
The draw is built from this. The same seed and the same list always give the same winners — announce it before you draw and everyone can check the result. It is used exactly as written, dashes and capitals included.

Good to know
- A bracket only fits exactly when the entrants are a power of two. Sixteen come out even; seventeen do not, and somebody advances without playing. Those byes are shown rather than hidden.
- At most one bye per first-round match. Two in the same match would be a match with nobody in it — where the byes land is the fairness question of a draw, not a rounding detail.
- Drawn byes go to whoever the draw puts in a bye match. Seeded byes go to the top of the list as you pasted it, spaced across the bracket so those entrants do not meet in the next round.
- Later rounds name the match they are waiting on, except after a bye — that entrant is carried forward by name, because there is no match to wait for.
- The same list, the same setting and the same seed always give the same bracket. Announce the seed first and anyone can check the draw.
